Lot 01 / Why teams switch

Your inventory moves faster than your tools.

Stones go out on memo, sit in consignment, get listed on marketplaces and entered in tenders — while their status lives in spreadsheets, chat threads and portals that don't talk to each other. Every gap between those tools is stale stock data, a missed follow-up, or financial exposure you can't see.

One stone. One status. One platform.

Location, paperwork, pricing, client interest and every sale it has been through — all of it stored against the stone and kept as a full history. Nothing is overwritten, so you can always see what changed, when, and who changed it.

Lot 02 / The platform

Everything the trade runs on, under one roof.

Invoicing, valuations, costs and yield flow straight from operations. Know your exposure on memo and your margin per stone — without month-end archaeology.

Auctions & tenders, native

Run tenders and auctions from the same system that holds your stock — lots, bidders, results and invoicing in one flow. Not an add-on. Not an integration.

Connected to where you already sell

Cloud-based, works anywhere, and syncs listings with marketplaces like Nivoda and RapNet — so stock stays current on every channel.

Onboarding that speaks your language

A team that knows the trade imports your stock lists, maps your price books and stays with you through the switch.

Lot 03 / Auctions & tenders

Sales are the main event. We built for them first.

BidGemmer started as auction and tender software for the stone trade — the ERP grew around it. Most systems treat your sale as an export at the end; here the entire lifecycle runs on the same records as your stock, from catalogue to settlement.

Catalogue

Build lot catalogues straight from live inventory — photos, certificates, reserves and estimates attached, no re-typing.

Bidders

Invite, vet and onboard bidders with the access and terms you set — per sale, per lot category, per client.

Viewings

Schedule viewing sessions, track who inspected which lot, and log interest and remarks — intelligence that feeds the sale.

Viewing management module

The sale

Run tenders or auctions with live bid status, closing rules you control, and a full audit trail of every bid.

Results & finance

Winners notified, invoices raised, settlement tracked — and prices-realized analytics ready for your next sale.

Lot 04 / AI pricing & trends

AI where it actually earns its place.

Not AI for its own sake — artificial intelligence applied to the two jobs that decide whether a stone sells well: grading it consistently, and pricing it correctly.

  • AI-assisted gradingSpeed up the routine classification work so your experts spend their time on the stones that genuinely need judgement.
  • AI price-bookBuild a price-book that reflects the market as it moves, rather than a spreadsheet that was accurate last quarter.
  • Pricing & demand analyticsSee realised prices, bid depth and demand shifts by category — drawn from your own sales history.

Price the next sale using the last one

Because results stay attached to the stones and buyers behind them, your own history becomes the reference.

Illustrative view — not real data

Lot 05 / Security

Built for an industry that runs on discretion.

Your stock list, your prices and your client book are the business. BidGemmer is engineered so that they stay yours — protected, isolated, and visible only to the people you choose.

Your data is yours alone

Strict tenant isolation by design: your inventory, pricing and clients are never visible to any other company on the platform, never sold, and never used to train anything.

Access down to the price column

Role-based permissions at field level — a sorter sees weights without costs; a broker sees only their consignment. A full audit log records who viewed, changed or exported what, and when.

Enterprise-grade protection

Hosted on AWS infrastructure, with encryption in transit and at rest, secure sign-in with SSO and two-factor authentication, and an architecture aligned with recognized security standards.

Lot 08 / Before you buy

Questions the trade actually asks.

We run on spreadsheets and WhatsApp today. How hard is switching?
Easier than living with the spreadsheets. Your existing stock lists import directly (Excel/CSV), and our onboarding team maps your categories, price books and clients with you. Most businesses run BidGemmer alongside their old process for a short overlap period, then switch — you're never asked to go dark on day one.
Does BidGemmer replace RapNet, Nivoda and other marketplaces, or work with them?
It works with them. Marketplaces are sales channels; BidGemmer is the system of record behind them. List and update stock on connected channels — RapNet, Nivoda, R2Net/Blue Nile and others — from one place, and when a stone's status changes (sold, on memo, entered in a tender) your listings reflect it, so you stop selling stones you no longer have. If you sell through a channel we don't yet connect to, tell us on your demo — new integrations are driven by what our clients actually trade on.
Can it really handle memo and consignment properly?
Yes — this is core, not a workaround. Each stone carries a live status (in stock, on memo, in consignment, in tender, sold), with who has it, since when, on what terms, and your total value exposed per client. Overdue memos surface automatically instead of hiding in a ledger.
We're a tender house or a mine. Is the auction module really native?
It's in the name — and it's where BidGemmer started. Whether you're a tender house running sales for others or a mine selling your own production, auctions and tenders are a first-class part of the platform, built on the same stone records as your inventory: build lot catalogues from stock, onboard and vet bidders, run the event, and flow results straight into invoicing and settlement. No exports, no third-party bolt-on. See the sale lifecycle.
Who can see our stock and our prices?
Only who you allow. Access is role-based down to individual fields — a sorter can see weights without costs; a broker can see their consignment and nothing else. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and your data is never shared between companies on the platform. More on security.
What does the AI actually do?
Two things, both practical. AI-assisted grading handles routine classification at volume so your graders concentrate on the stones that need real expertise. And the AI price-book analyses market movement together with your own realised results, so reserves and estimates are set on evidence rather than instinct alone. It supports your judgement; it does not replace it — and every figure stays traceable to the sale it came from. More on AI pricing and trends.
How secure is the platform, and where does our data live?
Security is treated as a core feature, not an afterthought — in this trade your stock list and your client book are the business. BidGemmer runs on AWS infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, strict tenant isolation so no other company on the platform can see your data, secure sign-in with SSO and two-factor authentication, and a full audit log of who viewed, changed or exported what. Your data is never sold or shared, and it stays yours — you can export it at any time. We're happy to walk your IT or compliance team through the details, and to answer security questionnaires as part of your evaluation. Read how we secure your data.
